He studied printing, and after a period of vocational training attended the printing-industry technical college. His inspiration as a photographer came from his work as a printer. The visuality of working with and editing images drew his attention to the deeper contexts. His works mainly focus on documenting people. In 1977 he joined the Mecsek Photo Club in Pécs, and later became a founding member of the Focus group. He has been a member of the Association of Hungarian Photographers since 1991. He participates in exhibitions with the Focus group: Pécs (2017), Pécs, Osijek, Belgrade, Paris (2018), Pécs (2020).
