Péter KORNISS

He was a photojournalist at women’s magazine Nők Lapja for thirty years, and later worked for various international magazines and book publishers. Exhibitions of his work have been held in 17 countries, most recently: Hungarian National Gallery (2017), Rome (2019), Saint Petersburg (2020). Awards: Kossuth Award (1999), Artist of the Nation (2014), Prima Primissima (2018). Works in public collections: Hungarian National Gallery, Hungarian Museum of Photography, Déri Museum, Musée Nicephore Niépce (France), National Science and Media Museum (UK), Getty Research Center (USA), The Archive of Modern Conflict (Canada).
