Gábor KÖRMENDI

His interest in photography began early. First, he studied his craft at the Nádasdy Kálmán School of Art (photography faculty), before further deepening his knowledge at the Jaschik Álmos School of Art. He earned his master’s degree in photography from the Rippl-Rónai Faculty of Art at the University of Kaposvár in 2020. His main areas of interest include global social problems, such as terrorism, the destruction of artworks or abuse of power. He creates or manipulates his pictures using digital software. His works have been exhibited by the K.A.S. Gallery, FUGA, the University of Kaposvár and Klauzál Ház. In 2019 he won a grant under the New National Excellence Programme.
