1931, Budapest

A leading figure in the Hungarian photography scene and recipient of a Prima Primissima (2008) and Kossuth Award (2017). She worked at Magyar Fotó and later MTI Photo before going on to become the picture editor of the weekly magazine Új Tükör and, until her retirement, head of the Europress photo agency. She continues to participate in the work of Hungarian and international judging panels and important professional bodies, and has organised exhibitions and authored and co-authored books. Latest solo exhibition: Life/Pics (Kunsthalle Budapest, 2019). Album of the exhibition: Life/Pics (2019). Her works are kept in Hungarian and international collections.
