Antal BÁNHEGYESY

He graduated from the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design with a degree in photography in 2017 and obtained his master’s degree from the same institution in 2019. In 2018 he was a finalist in the international New East Photo Prize competition in London, where his works were also exhibited. In 2019 he was awarded the Robert Capa Grand Prize and, in 2020, a Pécsi József Grant. In 2020 he represented Romania at the Venice Biennale. In 2020 a solo exhibition of his work opened at the Museum of Fine Arts in the city of his birth, Cluj-Napoca.
