Ferenc KÁLMÁNDY PAP

He started out as a member of the Mecsek Photo Club, and later joined the Focus group. Between 1982 and 2012 he was a photojournalist at the state news agency MTI. He exhibited jointly with the Focus group in Hungary (Pécs, Budapest, Szentendre, Szeged zalon, Esztergom Photo Biennial) and abroad (Piran, Lahti, Istanbul, Osijek, Ružomberok, Paris Salon, Torino Photo Biennial, Zagreb Salon). Individual awards: San Francisco (USA), 1978; Nîmes (F), 1978; Mechelen (B) and San Juan José (USA), 1978; Lipica (YU), 1980; Zagreb Salon (YU), 1981; Istanbul (TR), 1981; 1st prize and special prize of the Association of Hungarian Photographers at the Szolnok National Photo Exhibition; 1st prize at the 1984 Esztergom Photo Biennial; Press Award of Pécs University, 2003; Press Award of Baranya County Council, 2005; Press Award of the City of Pécs, 2009.
