György KONCZ

He graduated in 1985 with a degree in photo illustration from the Secondary School of Visual Arts. From 1987 to 1988 he was a photojournalist at the weekly magazine Képes Hét, before joining the newsroom of the newly established Mai Nap. From March 1990 he worked as a photojournalist for Pesti Hírlap, and then for Európa from 1991 until its discontinuation. Between 1992 and 1998 he was a staffer and section head at Kurír, then a photojournalist at Napi Magyarország and later head of photography at national daily broadsheet Magyar Nemzet. He was a photojournalist at Nemzeti Sport until his death.
